RIA Launches New York-Based Wealth Manager

AW Jones Advisors, an SEC registered investment advisor, has launched New York-based  AW Jones Private Advisors, a boutique investment advisor that offers wealth management services.

The firm will have an open-architecture investment platform with a specialization in alternative investments, it said in a statement.

It is led by Robert Burch, chief investment officer of AW Jones Company and Thomas Haug, president.

AW Jones Private Advisors have appointed Avi J Rosenblatt as chief financial officer and CCO, and David Leveroni, formerly responsible for investment due diligence at alternative asset management firm Permal Group, as head of investment research.

The firm will give clients access to traditional equity, fixed income, hedge fund, private equity and real-estate strategies.

“We expect AW Jones Private Advisors to be a preferred destination for sophisticated clients who seek deep investment expertise, un-conflicted advice and tailored portfolios,” said Burch. “We expect AW Jones Private Advisors to grow rapidly - both organically and inorganically - by providing advisors with independence and flexibility.”
